News: 3 days agoYoung notched 17 points (7-18 FG, 0-7 3Pt, 3-3 FT), four assists, three rebounds, three steals and a block in 26 minutes during Sunday's 94-78 preseason win over the Japan National Team.
Spin: Although Young was unable to connect from beyond the arc during Sunday's preseason opener, she was efficient from two-point range en route to the team's second-highest scoring total. She also led the team in steals and tied for the team lead in assists. After re-signing with the Aces on a one-year deal during the offseason, Young should remain a stellar fantasy option this year after averaging 16.5 points, 5.1 assists, 4.5 rebounds and 1.3 steals in 30.4 minutes per game in 2025.
ESPN Fantasy Projection: Young played a key role in the Aces' 2025 WNBA Championship, the third title in four seasons for the franchise. She played in every single game in 2025, and she finished the regular season averaging 16.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 5.1 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.8 threes over 30.4 minutes per game. Young's numbers were similar to her production in 2024 despite a slight dip in playing time, but it was encouraging to see an uptick in her field-goal percentage. She formed a three-person core with Chelsea Gray and 2025 WNBA MVP A'ja Wilson, and Las Vegas should remain a championship favorite in 2026 since the Aces managed to retain their key contributors during the offseason.
